I have been focused on Literacy Education for the past 15 years! I thoroughly enjoy the puzzle of reading acquisition in children. My credentials are as follows: M.S. in Reading Education, 2006 B.S. in Education, 1992 PA and NJ Teaching and Reading Specialist PA Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction

Seasoned professional educator with over 25 years of experience as a: Classroom Teacher, Reading Recovery Teacher, Reading Specialist, and 1:1 Tutor. I believe that if a child is not learning well, then we have not yet found the way to teach him or her! Likewise, if your child does not enjoy reading, he or she hasn't found the right book. I enjoy the challenge of inspiring children to love reading, and I welcome the opportunity to work with your child! I have a Master's degree in Reading Education and have experience working with children with ADHD, learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Dyslexia. I find it very valuable to communicate with your child's teacher. When school, family and specialists work together, the child benefits the most.
